The Death Valley, the place which is aptly named on this earth. A dry and arride place which shows 115°F in the thermometer.
When I opened the window of the car once there, I had the same sensation as when I open the convection oven of my kitchen, without the soft smell which emanates from it.
Once past the sensation to have arrived in the bowels of hell, you discover a desert landscape which spreads out on hundreds of kilometers. We can perceive three sand dunes or 3 square meters of water but there that’s enough.
I ventured on one of these dunes to take some photos. Precisely 5 minutes. Impossible to hold longer under this heat. I was spirit to choke. For one half-second, I even envied the people being in the Parisian cold. It is to say!
Then obviously, if you are in the area, stop there but to compare in the Grand Canyon or in other national parks, it has no big interest. My advice : Avoid August and seats in imitation leather in the car if you wear a pair of shorts!
